Terms & booking conditions

1. Deposits and payment

A deposit of 30% of the total trip cost is required to confirm a booking. The balance is due 60 days before departure. For bookings made within 60 days of travel, full payment is required at confirmation.

2. Cancellations

Cancellations more than 60 days before departure receive a full deposit refund minus any non-refundable permit or flight costs. Cancellations 30 to 60 days before departure forfeit 50% of the trip cost. Cancellations within 30 days forfeit 100%.

3. Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical evacuation and repatriation is mandatory for all guests. We require proof of insurance no later than 30 days before departure.

4. Changes to the itinerary

Safari Plains Africa reserves the right to make minor route or accommodation changes when local conditions require. We will always inform you promptly and offer alternatives of equal or higher standard.

5. Liability

We are a licensed Kenyan tour operator and KATO member. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the services we directly provide. We are not responsible for delays or changes caused by weather, political events or third-party suppliers.
